Band Members (in order as above): AJ Todd (Guitar) Jennifer le Roux (Vocals), Roelof le Roux (Guitar), Stuart Hunt (Drums) & Lee Blake(Bass)

The band has been formed since mid 2006, currently has 10 established songs with more material in the pipeline and a growing fan base in the south. Our age range is from 18 – 27, a successful combination that has meant we have the maturity, the experience and the energy required to maintain a strong foundation as a band. All the members have completed music courses ranging from ACM in Guildford, to BTEC Music at Southdowns College, giving them the professional coaching, support and knowledge required to understand the industry and career they are working towards.

‘Life with Max’ are a Portsmouth & Southampton based Original Alternative Punk Rock Band with influences ranging from Machine Head, System of a Down, Blink 182, Green Day, No Doubt, Pink, Feeder, Chilli Peppers, Sum 41 & the list goes on. Music professionals have compared the band to Paramore and the vocal style to Skunk Anansie, PJ Harvey and Gwen Stefani.

They have been gigging in their local area regularly, most recently venues included The Wedgewood Rooms, The Joiners, Drift Bar, Black Bar, The Eastney Cellars, The Nell Gwynne, The Fawcett Inn and Havana Bar.

For 2007/2008 'Life with Max' were concentrating on gigging as much as possible to increase their live experience as a band. However, more recently they are going back to the rehearsal room to write more music and record a decent demo of their best work.

The band would appreciate any advice or support from Music professionals and would like to hear from anyone with a new venue they can play at or any bands that would like to gig share.

In the meantime, 'Life with Max' can't wait to force feed you their own brand of guitar driven Alternative Punk Rock.
