Biography

We are "The Eleven 37s" a band from the brighton area who will soon also be hitting the London scene in late 2008 and 2009. We are a funk rock style band and we all come from previous band backgrounds to create what we feel is a sound that is a bit different to everything else, but still easily listenable.

We started out in mid 2007 and recorded our first EP in October 2007 which got a lot of good feedback. We are now set to release the 2nd EP September 2008 with 5 new tracks.

We have a passion for playing live for the pure fact of getting our music heard, for people to enjoy, and we also believe that playing live isn't just about the music (as important as it is), it's also about making our live performances as enjoyable as possibly for our audiences. We like to include random objects or costumes from time to time. On the occassion you can expect to see something different at every gig we do.

Our music has a very funky rock feel to it and we also like to mix in a couple of mellow tracks into our set (depending on the gig) so that we can get our music to appeal to a wider audience, but we keep the same style within our music so that our fans no what to expect. Our influences include Red Hot Chili Peppers (Funky) and Rage Against The Machine. So a mix of rock with funk that makes your ears smile inside (thats if they could smile).
