Biography

Hey, everyone! My name is Dom Meakins and basically I am a songwriter. I am currently based around the Eastbourne/Brighton area of the UK, playing shows and writing new songs all the time.

I've had the pleasure of sharing rooms with the most inspirational people on this planet;

My inspiration comes from all around me: my life, my friends, my family, the music I listen/ don't listen to, my world. I strongly believe the best song ideas come to you by accident, in your sleep or when you least expect them to. This doesn't mean I don't work hard though!!!!.

I write songs to be played/cut by me and/or other artists. All the songs you hear were written, produced and recorded by me. I try to write in a number of different genres and styles. The songs that appear on my page are an up-to-date showcase of my current projects that will be updated as new material is completed.
