Suze has a strong grounding in live playing, due to her experience with many originals and covers groups; all varying in styles.  She is an accomplished singer-songwriter with a fiery, yet sultry singing style, and a genius guitarist 

Mark’s diverse musical capabilities mean that his playing can be as vast.  The unique Glavion sound is largely due to his extraordinary talents as a songwriter. His roots as a drummer mean Glavion has a solid rhythmical vibe. 

Dean plays several instruments with a flare and style all his own including piano, guitar and percussion.  But the bass is his first love, and this is evident in the driving deep lines, slides and grooves which gives Glavion’s music a rich bottom end. 

Michael is the guitar wizard of the group; he literally is the icing on the cake. The sounds that he creates are nothing short of a warlock’s potion.  He approaches his craft, and his foot pedals, like a scientist at work 

THE HISTORY 

Glavion consists of four musicians who formed in the summer of 2005. Drawing on a wide range of musical experiences and influences the members came together to create a fusion of Electronica and Rock.  The band has gigged hard since its birth, a journey that has taken it from small pubs, to a string of festivals and well recognised venues.  At this time, Glavion is unsigned. 

THE MUSIC

Glavion can perhaps best be likened to a meeting of Portishead, Daft Punk and Muse. It blends synth-based arrangements with acoustic and electric guitar, and strong female vocals to create ‘electronica/rock’.
