Biography

inertia.doesntexist are a three piece instrumental rock/metal band from the cultral void known as newhaven. Guitarist - mark, Basist - AD and Drummer - Sam all bring varied tastes to the table to create something somewhat unique. Starting off with barely any musical ability, and no instruction, in a cramped garage, inertia have come along way with no outside intervention to create something completely natural. Their music is a mix of somewhere between Radiohead and muse but effortlessly merging into more deftones/glassjaw riffs with complex yet catchy structures and long drifting melodies. There are two released cds, one a two track demo released June 2005 and a second demo CD, a seven track EP called X.................N released in June of 2006. Inertia have played many gigs at the Pavillion Tavern in Brighton to great response's and also the Newhaven FORT battle of the bands where they came second. They have played Metal fest 2006 in tunbridge Wells, Railway club in Littlehampton and have also appeared on ROCKET FM and had air play on RADIO REVERB Inertia have recordeda new album xenotransplantation which will be on sale at gigs around sussex.
