Biography

Owen Thomas, Jim Duncan and James Harvey met at a village school in West Sussex at the end of the last century. Dan Sinclair and Chris Gogarty were found wandering in the hills near Brighton and whilst disorientated were convinced to join a band named after a recently discovered deep sea fish. Since forming Winteria have headlined the Brighton Live week, appeared on the bill at The Gilded Palace of Sin’s Sadstock festival and supported the likes of Tilly and the Wall, Joy Zipper, Last Days Of April and The Lovegods. When not gigging Winteria write, record and produce their music in a self built studio near a motocross track that’s covered in egg boxes and fairy lights. A debut album is due out in second half of 2007 with a nationwide tour to follow.
